Junior Tennis at Rockfield TC
Junior tennis at Rockfield Tennis Club is all about fun, development, and building a lifelong love of the game. Under the guidance of Coach Louise Cahill, our junior programme offers a wide range of activities for children and teenagers of all levels, from beginners picking up a racquet for the first time to juniors playing in competitive tournaments.
Parks Tennis
Rockfield hosts Parks Tennis, a fun and inclusive community programme designed to introduce children to the sport in a friendly and supportive environment. It’s a great way for beginners to learn the basics and make new friends on court. For more info go to: https://parkstennis.com
Junior Club Championships
The Junior Club Championships are one of the most exciting events of the year. Players of all ages and abilities can take part, competing in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere that celebrates the progress of our young members.
Match Play and Box Leagues
Throughout the year, we run Match Play sessions and Box Leagues for both singles and doubles. These friendly competitions give juniors regular match experience, help them track their progress, and build confidence on court.
Summer Camps
During the summer months, the club hosts Junior Summer Camps, offering a mix of coaching, games, and activities for all ages. The camps provide a fun and active way to improve tennis skills, stay fit, and make new friends during the holidays.
Joining the junior programme at Rockfield means becoming part of a welcoming, encouraging community where every young player can learn, grow, and enjoy their tennis journey.
9 Omni Surface Courts
We have 2 Clay, 2 Astro and 5 Hard Courts available. We have lights on 4 of our courts.
Coaching
We have various Tennis Ireland Coaches available to help you. Adult and Junior beginners, improvers lessons available. Group or Individual as required.
Social Tennis Evenings
Club Members Social Tennis evenings take place weekly. Mens Social 6-8pm Monday. Ladies Social 7-9pm Wednesday.
Pay and Play
Don't want to commit to a membership? We are also a Pay and Play facility. Just come along and pay... and play!
Annual Membership
We have Senior, Family, Student and Junior memberships options available. Membership runs from April to end of March.
Club Tournaments & Events
We have Club Championshipts, internal box leagues and much more.
