Rockfield Tennis Club – Social Tennis

At Rockfield, tennis is all about fun, friendship, and community. Whether you’re new to the game or a regular on the courts, our social sessions are the best way to meet other members, enjoy some great matches, and get involved in club life.

Weekly Social Tennis

We run regular social sessions for all members throughout the season, offering something for everyone:

Men’s Night – relaxed tennis and plenty of good banter
Women’s Night – fun, friendly matches and great company
Mixed Doubles Night – sociable evening tennis with plenty of variety

Times and days vary throughout the year, so members can join in whenever it suits their schedule. These sessions are open to all levels, just come along, mix in, and enjoy a great evening of tennis and chat!

Quarterly Social Events

Every few months, the club gets together for a big social night, a chance for everyone to enjoy some fun tennis, light-hearted competition, prizes, and tasty post‑match nibbles.

These events are open to all members, regardless of playing level, it’s all about the laughs, the camaraderie, and the shared love of the game.

Friendly Matches

We love helping members get “match ready,” so we regularly arrange friendly fixtures against local clubs. These matches are a brilliant way to meet new opponents, experience different playing styles, and represent Rockfield TC in a relaxed, sociable environment.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS

Our annual Club Championships are the highlight of the summer season, with members competing across 14 events in a friendly but competitive atmosphere.

It’s a great way to test your game, meet other players, and soak up the lively summer tennis buzz around the club.
